When a person recognizes their true calling in life, they usually answer it promptly. Ivonne Diaz identified her calling at an early age: this mission was teaching. At the tender age of 19, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and went on to receive a Master’s Degree in English as a Second Language so that she could become the successful Associate Professor and expert in English instruction that she is today.
Ms. Diaz is currently the president of the Puerto Rico Chapter of the Business and Professional Women’s Foundation. She is active in her community, and participates in volunteer initiatives which include the American Cancer Society, Inc. Ms. Diaz is also a Eucharist Minister at her local church and a Bible studies teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, dancing and coordinating activities.
